Now that America has elected its first Black president blind loyalty has reared its ugly head. Heated arguments have broken out between husbands and wives, children and their parents, friends and coworkers, etc. To the Obama disciples he needs “more time” to “change America” and we all need to be more “patient.” To utter a word of criticism would not only be construed as treasonous but anathema, too.

The Obama Administration has imported its bare knuckled political thuggery to the capitol. They have embarked on an intense campaign to demonize the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Fox News, etc. To their chagrin on Thursday Washington bureau chiefs of the five TV networks decided that none of their reporters would interview Kenneth Feinberg, the so-called “pay czar”, unless the Obama team rescinded its ban on Fox News from being included. This time Chicago bullying tactics failed miserably.

But to the Obama disciples its no big thing. So what? Its all politics. The problem is that this signals an administration willing to retaliate against its detractors. Drunk with power indeed. And all in less than a year. Hang on because we are in for a rougher ride the next three years both domestically and internationally.
