Unbelievable Irrationality
The blind loyalty infecting Obama followers/fanatics renders one speechless and incredulous at the emotional outbursts that ensue whenever The Anointed One is criticized. Spouses, siblings, cousins, and dear friends are now estranged over the first black president ever elected. I almost lost a good [black] friend that I knew from the Marines since 1966 becasue I refused to vote for Obama. He insulted me more than once and if I didn’t tell you so you would think that we were never friends. The disciples of Obama remind me of brainwashed cult members who are incapable of seeing the truth. The only thing missing in them are glazed eyes and foaming at the mouth. “I didn’t know what to make of the article until the comment about doing away with the respect of the presidential office.
Many Republicans believe Obama is not or ever was a United States citizen and thus ineligible for the presidency, and I know our previous president Bush was a Republican and he was disrespected at home and abroad by Democrats, with constant comments on how he allegedly “stole” the election. It makes very little sense for the losing party to speak ill on the winner and attempt to make them look foolish, but it does not mean it should be done. In either case, either man was above the disrespect paid to their faces. I have spoken to people who say that Obama should not be disrespected, but I rarely hear anyone else say that on Bush’s behalf.
I was not brought up that way, and none of the people who read this or any political website were either. The fact that people have to be told to respect their president or political leader is a sad comment on our country.
Additional note: When I tried to look at the article’s webpage again, I could not access the site or page.
