Freshman congress members are probably losing sleep and privately cursing among themselves about the intransigence of Pelosi and Reid. The Blue Dog Democrats now find themselves between the proverbial rock and a hard place. On the one hand they would like to please the the likes of the Pelosi/Reid wing of the party but on the other hand they don’t find political hari kari very palatable, either. Bowing to the extreme left wing of the party could result in losing their seats in 2010. And the latest polls are creating more consternation. I’m trying not to gloat.Click Full Story

ncluding specific questions in posts definitely helps get higher numbers of comments. I find that when I include questions in my headings that it is a particularly effective way of getting a response from readers as you set a question in their mind from the first moments of blog
