Are Reparations On The Horizon?

The pro reparations mantra among black people is that the US awarded reparations to Japanese-Americans who were interred in American concentration camps and how Germany awarded reparations to Jews who were forced to work in their automobile factories. Therefore, it follows that the US- according to black Americans – should pay reparations to the ancestors of slavery. The flaw in this argument is that the above-mentioned Japanese Americans and the Jews WERE NOT ANCESTORS but actual victims and survivors who endured injustice and persecution. So, with regard to blacks who insist on reparations the question is who are the actual villains who are responsible for slavery? Aren’t they all dead? And instead of demanding that the US government be held responsible [if any payments are made at all] should it not be the Democrat Party that was responsible for slavery and lynchings and the creation of the KKK? And why should any payments be made to ancestors instead of actual survivors? See Erik Rush’s commentary.Click Full Story
