Recently a story circulated about Obama besting Jesus Christ in a popularity contest. My initial reaction was twofold. One, that this kind of adulation is dangerous [to our nation] if we take the word of God seriously that our God is a jealous God. And two, that President Obama never repudiated this poll in a spirit of humility. I can envision him smiling and basking in the afterglow of self satisfaction. “Gee, they love me more than Christ. This is so cool.” Not really Obama. Another Bible verse for you to ponder is Proverbs 16:18 “Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.” Be advised America and Obama.
