Recently a story circulated about Obama besting Jesus Christ in a popularity contest. My initial reaction was twofold. One, that this kind of adulation is dangerous [to our nation] if we take the word of God seriously that our God is a jealous God. And two, that President Obama never repudiated this poll in a spirit of humility. I can envision him smiling and basking in the afterglow of self satisfaction. “Gee, they love me more than Christ. In light of the fact the the American Muslim communtiy has never reacted strongly against Islamic terrorism why should any American think its a good idea to hire a Muslim for a White House position? Is a Muslim in the Obama Adminstration likely to support or oppose any use of force against an Islamic nation? Most of us would agree with the latter. If I recall correctly in either Kuwait or Iraq a few years ago a soldier fragged some American officers. My initial hunch was that it was an African-American Muslim convert.
